CEREALYS, MEASURING HAGBERG FALLING NUMBER IN 1 MIN
The Hagberg falling number is a key quality criterion for assessing the technological value of wheat (wheat ability to be made into bread). The current method of measuring the falling number requires 15-20 minutes and is not suitable for rapid quality control upon receipt trucks. Indeed, the time available to the farmer and pay to distribute the grain in storage cells is 3 min maximum. Spectralys Innovation has developed the first analyzer capable of analyzing the Hagberg falling number in 1 minute on whole wheat grain to meet the needs of grain collector.
With a set of cooperative partner, this development project allows you topay the right price to the farmer, to eliminate non-conforming lots and prevent blockages in receiving areas. In each case, this rapid and non-destructive measurement saves you functional and operational costs.
The device was designed to be 100% adapted to the silo settings (high dust, temperature variations, etc.).
